About Me

I grew up in Westminster, Maryland and attended St. Paul's School for Girls where I graduated at the top of my class and was a varsity athlete in soccer, swimming, and lacrosse.

I graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in German Studies and minors in English and History. While at Dartmouth I also played rugby, served as president of the German club, and worked as a peer tutor in the writing center.

In May 2017 I graduated with my Ph.D from the Carolina-Duke Graduate Program in German Studies, also receiving the Certificate in Feminist Studies from Duke University.

In my free time I enjoy hiking and going to the movies. In addition, I am an avid musical theater fan and can often be found singing showtunes.
